• 24″ panel width:
  • if using clip-on rings, each panel gathers to about 9 to 13″ wide (18″ to 26″ per pair), or
  • if gathering through the rod pocket, each panel gathers to about 10″ to 17″ wide (20″ to 34″ per pair);
• 48″ panel width:
  • if using clip-on rings, each panel gathers to about 18 to 24″ wide (36″ to 48″ per pair), or
  • if gathering through the rod pocket, each panel gathers to about 19″ to 30″ wide (38″ to 60″ per pair);
• 72″ panel width:
  • if using clip-on rings, each panel gathers to about 27 to 37″ wide (54″ to 74″ per pair), or

We recommend hanging your rod right below your ceiling line/crown molding for rooms with 8′ ceilings. Do NOT hang your rod only an inch or two above your window unless it’s a must.

• If choosing clip-on curtain ring installation:
  • Measure from bottom of curtain ring to floor or window sill. Add another 1/2″ if you’ll sweep each panel off to the side with curtain holdbacks, and add another extra 1″ to 3″ if you want your drape to puddle on the floor instead of being floor length.
• If choosing rod pocket installation:
  • Measure from top of rod to floor or window sill. Add another extra 1/2″ for thick rods, add another extra 1/2″ if you’ll sweep each panel off to the side with curtain holdbacks, and add another extra 1″ to 3″ if you want your drape to puddle on the floor instead of being floor length.
