If you’ve been around our website for a while, you might have seen a new product in our semi-custom department – our straight valances!
Here is a brief overview of some of their features.

They’re Custom-Sized
These are not your typical flat valances that you have to gather on a rod to fit a ubiquitous window width.
No, these are custom-sized and you get to select in quarter-inch increments when shopping on this website.
Most are available up to 52 inches wide, and some even up to 120 inches wide.

They Can Hang 3 Ways
And because our straight valances are custom-sized, you have the option of measuring them to hang one of three ways:
- As an inside mount using a spring tension rod;
- As an outside mount without any returns using a decorative rod with finials;
- As an outside mount with a return using a continental rod.

They Have a Wide Rod Pocket
The reason why your straight valance can hang on virtually any rod is thanks to its large 3-3/4-inch rod pocket.

They Are Lined
We don’t use cheap polycotton linings, and the straight valance is no different. Just like with our faux shades, our straight valances come standard with thermal suede lining, too.

They Are Our Most Budget-Friendly Option
If you want a custom sewn and custom-sized window treatment using medium- or heavy-weight home decor fabrics only, the straight valance style is the most budget-friendly option out there.
